P. 26

What does it mean to attend?
What does it mean to attend through the morphing terrain of a body?
What does it mean to attend through the morphing, relational terrain of a body in ensemble with other bodies?
To allow the bacterial sprawl of ideas to take place. To take particular interest in glitches and losses – the sites and moments where human intention becomes mangled by circumstances and by failures, taking things beyond human imagination. To not know in advance which parts of the performance will be enacted. To prepare for our fallibility to be witnessed.
To travel across art forms through drawing, writing, somatic experiment, choreographic phrase, scripted dialogue, participatory tasking. Our mistranslations occur in movements between art forms. Different tasks allow feeling, imagining and sharing space in different ways. We work with expanding fields of practice and an expanding sense of embodiment. The edges of bodies dissolve. The boundaries between creative disciplines blur.
To tune into the micro-events and micro-politics of guest-host relationships.
