Today’s atmospheric encounter is in the notation of angles for windcatching.
Content warnings for this section include Group Activity and Potential for Non-Deliberate Physical Content Whilst Holding String,
We will start by standing at the edge of the laboratory and focussing our attention on the currents of the wind.
We now ask you in joining us to measure the angle of today’s wind.
We’ll all collectively hold this wind measuring device and stand out where we can all feel the wind currents of this moment in time. Find the angle of the wind and mark
it with this string, remembering to hold your angle with precision. We’ll now walk back to the laboratory together where we’ll move our angles from 3 dimensions to 2 dimensions, and trace our measurements onto paper.
It is most important that the angle maintain its integrity all the way to the board in order for the laboratory assistant to accurately measure the angle of today’s wind using this protractor.
