Next Generation Digital 6AL Ignition Control
Next-generation ignition control has a
completely new, redesigned housing
with the wiring routed out of one end
through a sealed and locking connector
to simplify and clean-up wiring. Ignition
produces more power, with over 530 pri-
- ing, while drawing less current. The rev limiter is located right on top of the housing, offering easy access to the two rotary dials to set the rev limits in 100 RPM increments. Unit is compatible with 4-, 6-, or 8-cylinder engines, and is sold complete with wiring harness and vibration mounts.

Digital Programmable 6AL-2 Ignition Control
This next-generation ignition control
has an aluminum housing, new digi-
tal controls, and the energy to deliver
multiple sparks at each 20° of crankshaft
rotation. TPC-programmable unit lets
you tune the ignition curve, boost the
timing map, or adjust the two-step rev limiter with MSD's Pro Data+ software. Ignition controls are compatible with any 4-, 6-, or 8-cylinder engine using a 12-volt negative ground distributor system. Wiring and vibration mounts included.

tion racing, the 6HVC-L produces up to
150 mJ of spark energy with 550 primary
volts to 15,000 RPM. Locking, Deutsch
connectors are NASCAR approved. Available with built-in Fast Rev Limiter or a Soft-Touch Rev Limiter to protect the engine from over-revving. Internal components are encased in clear epoxy for vibration protection.

Originally designed for NASCAR
but suited to a wide variety of racing
applications, the 6ALN ignition control
includes the mandatory 6-pin weath-
er-tight connector to meet the NA-
SCAR 20-6.1 ignition wiring rule. Special
connector offers a tight, positive locking connection with seals to keep dirt and moisture out. Unit delivers up to 480 primary while drawing only 1 amp per 1,000 RPM. Built-in rev control is adjustable with plug-in modules. Ignition is sold complete with wiring harness, vibration mounts, and 3,000, 6,000, 7,000, and 8,000 RPM modules.
