Starlite “55” Front Dust Cap, Bolt-On
“Floating” rotor mounts eliminate dam-
aging heat-related stresses at the rotor
mount tabs and bolt stands. Different
thermal expansion rates of iron and alu-
minum distort rotors, causing uneven pad
build-up, excessive rotor wear, and pulsing
pad knock-back. The high-strength steel
mounting plates bolt solidly to the hubs with specialized mount- ing bolts and “T”-nuts. Use with any eight on 7.00" bolt pattern rotors with 5/16" bolt holes.
