Compstar Comet features triple heat-treated 4340 steel, gun-drilled main line, lightened rod journals, pendulum-cut counter- weights, and a star flange, precision ground and micro-polished to 5Ra. Magnum features ultra-pure AISI 4340 steel, triple heat-treated, nitride hardened, gun-drilled main line, full profiled counterweights, precision ground and micro-polished to 5Ra.

“ESP” features SAE 4340 steel non-twist forging, multi-stage heat-treated, stress-relieved, .125” radii for use with narrowed bearings, chamfered oil holes, shot-peened, nitride hardened, X-rayed, magnafluxed, and sonic tested. Recommended for use up to 1500 HP. Lightweight has the same features as standard, with gun-drilled mains and lightweight counterweight design. Featherweight has the same features as standard with gun-drilled mains and ultra-lightweight counterweight design. Armor Finish (AF) - Surface finishing process that results in an incredibly slick surface. Resembles a chrome finish.
