Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Cylinder Heads

 The Performer cylinder heads are patterned after the 1969-70 Ram Air IV (round exhaust
port) Pontiac head for outstanding performance gains from 1962-79 389-455 engines.
They feature a 72cc combustion chamber for high-compression engines, or an 87cc
chamber designed to maximize performance while using low-octane fuel with a 9.5:1
compression ratio. Deck thickness 5/8", rocker studs 7/16", pushrods 5/16". 50-state emissions legal. Sold individually.
Edelbrock Performer D-Port Aluminum Cylinder Head
The Edelbrock Performer D-Port cylinder head utilizes a D-Port exhaust port designed for
1962-79 389, 400, 421, 428, and 455 C.I.D. Pontiac engines with a 4.060" or larger bore.
Optimized oil return passages allow for increased oil flow, and the spark plug has been relocated closer to the exhaust valve for improved performance. Extra-thick port walls and a compact port size are ideal for CNC and hand porting. 50-state emissions legal. Sold individually.
Edelbrock RPM Aluminum Cylinder Heads
The Performer RPM cylinder heads are patterned after the 1969-70 Ram Air IV (round
exhaust port) Pontiac head for outstanding performance gains from 1962-79 389-455
engines. A 72cc chamber helps maximize horsepower (450-550 HP) and performance from 1500-6500 RPM in high-com- pression engines. Deck thickness 5/8", rocker studs 7/16", pushrods 5/16". 50-state emissions legal. Sold individually.
Edelbrock RPM CNC Aluminum Cylinder Heads
The Edelbrock RPM CNC Cylinder Head has the same specifications as the Performer RPM with the addition of a CNC-machined combustion chamber. The CNC-machined chamber provides a consistent improved flow with less turbulence. Sold individually.
Edelbrock Performer RPM CNC Pontiac D-Port Cylinder Heads
The RPM CNC Pontiac D-Port cylinder heads utilize the original D-port exhaust port
configuration. Designed for 1962-79 389, 400, 421, 428, and 455 engines with a 4.060"
or larger bore. They feature extra-thick port walls and a compact port size, making them
ideal for CNC and hand porting. The optimized oil return passages and spark plug relocated closer to the exhaust valve fur- ther enhance performance. Heat crossover is machined achieve 50-state emissions legal performance. Sold individually.
