Small block Chevy 383 cu. in.
crate engine offers 430 dyno-
proven horsepower. Seasoned,
four-bolt main block incorpo-
rates a cast steel 3.750" stroke
crankshaft, OEM connecting
rods with 150,000 PSI fasteners,
hypereutectic 10.0:1 pistons, and
a hydraulic roller camshaft with
221°/226° duration @ .050" with
.528"/.536" valve lift. Block is topped with a set of aluminum 195cc intake runner cylinder heads with 64cc combustion chambers and 2.02" intake/1.60" exhaust valves. Long block includes valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan. Dressed engine includes an aluminum intake manifold, harmonic balancer, 750 CFM carburetor, water pump, fuel pump, HEI distributor, and spark plug wires.

proven horsepower. Production
6-bolt main block is fitted with
a forged 4.125" stroke crank-
shaft, forged 6.125" connecting
rods, forged 11:1 pistons, and a
hydraulic roller camshaft with 239°/255° duration @ .050"
and .624" valve lift. Aluminum 259cc intake runner cylinder
heads with 2.165" intake/1.600" exhaust valves and 72cc
combustion chambers. Crate engine is finished with an LS3
intake manifold, 90mm throttle body, 42 lb. injectors, return-
less fuel rails, harmonic balancer, coil packs, spark plug
wires, necessary sensors, and wiring harness.
Notes: Engine does not have a provision for a mechanical fuel pump. Water pump, flywheel/flexplate, and starter not included.

@ .050" and .544"/.555" valve lift. Aluminum 220cc intake runner cylinder heads utilize 2.08" intake/1.60" exhaust valves and 64cc combustion chambers. Long block assem- bly includes valve covers, timing cover, and oil pan. Dressed engine adds an aluminum intake manifold, HEI distributor, and 850 CFM carburetor.
Notes: Engines do have a provision for a mechanical fuel pump. Engines do not include harmonic balancer, water pump, spark plug wires, flywheel/flexplate and starter.
