Titanium Retainers
DRAG RACING
Titanium retainers are made from aerospace quality Timetal® 62S alloy. Retainers are heat treated and processed to withstand high engine temperatures, triple valve springs, and roller cams. The Comp Cams titanium retainer is lighter and stronger than steel with maximum stiffness and minimal warpage up to 10,000 RPM. Most retainers listed must be used with 10° Super Locks. Sold in sets of 16.

Super Locks are machined with a 10° angle for better distribution of loads over the retainer, reduc- ing the chance of “pull through”. Fit any Comp 10° retainer. Sold in sets of 16 pair.
7° locks are recommended for applications
with light valve spring load. Valve locks are
stamped, hardened for wear resistance and
offer the same accurate valve spring location
as Super Locks without the need to change to 10° retainers. Sold in sets of 16.
