Accumulator
Oil is stored under pressure
for immediate release into the main galleries if oil pressure drops. It can also decrease the oil level in the pan to reduce windage. A cold start valve releases oil into a cold engine
to reduce wear. The Accumulator is 20-1/8" long and 4-1/4" diameter, mounts in any position, holds 3-quarts of oil and is tapped for a 1/2"NPT fitting. Use with mount kit MOR23920, oil filter adapter MOR23690 (Chevrolet), and solenoid valve MOR23905.

oil filters to trap debris before it enters the filter element. Serves as an “early warning signal”

External Heating Pads
