Spark Plug Wire Sets
8.5mm Super Conductor wire has extremely low resis-
tance and high RFI (radio frequency interference) suppres- sion; a combination which would seem to defy the laws of physics. The low resistance is achieved through a helically wrapped, copper-alloy conductor which is then wrapped around a ferromagnetic-impregnated center core.

spline so that up to 3" can be
cut off. Axles have a 2-1/2"
brake space with late model
big Ford housing ends. Axles
are high-performance induction
heat-treated, forged alloy steel.
Flanges are installed and have
5 on 4-1/2" Ford/Chrysler and 5
on 4-3/4" Chevy wheel bolt patterns. Each axle includes a large tapered roller bearing with seal, heavy-duty retainer plate and two sets of wheel studs (1/2" and 7/16"). Axles for all of the applications listed in the chart below may be attained using two of the following CTF axles. Axles are measured from the outside mounting surface to the end of the splines.

longer a worry because 9-Plus now offers a
9" style housing made of a slightly thicker gauge steel for increased strength and rigidity. The ends are machined to accept 3.00" OD x .188" wall axle tubes and have a chamfer on each end for a good weld joint.
Heavy-Duty Housing

Heavy-duty Ford 9" housing is
made from high-grade forming
steel for wrinkle-free construction.
Housing weighs 25.8 pounds and accepts 3" OD tubes, which may be inserted as far as four inches. Slots have been machined in the housing to provide additional weld contact for added strength. Extra thick housing can be welded without distortion.
