STEP 3
IDENTIFY REAR U-JOINT
GM joints with placement tabs – 1310 series GM joints without placement tabs – 3R Saginaw series Ford – measure distance between placement tabs – 3-1/4" 1310 series or 3 5/8" 1330 series. All 1350 joints are 3 5/8" between tabs with 1-3/16" cup diameter.
DRIVESHAFT LENGTH
This measurement is from the transmission case to the center line of rear U-joint. See the diagram below.
