Connected
We all have different views of life, what we’ll take and what we’ll bring. But the truth is we’re not strangers; we are a part of everything.
The man who lives his carefree days inside a villa on a ridge
is connected to the bearded man who spends his days under a bridge.
Connected not by links or twine, but instead, invisible chains
and the same red, warm, human blood that courses through their veins.
Some believe they rise above with prestige, wealth and fame though the air they breathe, the ground they walk,
the sky...is still the same.
The roads we travel separately somewhere intersect
at the juncture where all journeys inevitably connect.
Yes, we have our differences, but, our commonalities are more and though we may collide at times like the waves clash with the shore,
remember, every single wave is forever bonded to the sea. As it is, we are united
