I Am Love
I am not a possession
to be shown or displayed. My worth cannot be measured, calculated or weighed.
I am often elusive, yet found everywhere. I can never be seen, yet you know I am there.
I am not a weapon,
a knife or grenade,
but I can shatter your world and cut like a blade.
I am an essence
you can’t run from or hide once I capture your heart and you feel me inside.
I have no mass,
still I’m true and I’m real -- invisible, weightless,
yet stronger than steel.
I am gentle enough
to touch all your senses, yet possess enough power to dissolve your defenses.
I permeate earth
in the waves of the seas. I twist with the wind and I flow with the breeze.
