Let it Go
Like a tornado, anger will destroy that which falls unto its path leaving everyone affected
to receive its mighty wrath.
It will fester like a wound;
it will spread and it will grow. How much damage it will cause depends on when you let it go.
Though it never will be easy,
it is the only right answer because it breeds inside your body
like a foul and wicked cancer.
Release it from your soul. Let it all disintegrate. Set your burdened heart free from the bitterness and hate
that shadow your conscience like a lingering debt, though it’s easier to forgive, than forever to forget.
Let mercy wash away resentment in the pouring down rain
for when you keep the hate and hurt, you also keep the pain.
