Open Heart
We’re all raised with different settings, understandings and ideals.
But we need to keep an open heart to all that life reveals.
We’re all in this together,
and we must learn to compromise. For what you label right and wrong, I may view otherwise.
The years teach us individually what to take and what to give, and we each have our OWN life that is uniquely ours to live.
It’s impossible to grow and learn when your opinions are one-sided, and closing up your mind and heart is unhealthy and misguided.
Don’t let others’ opinions create such stress and fury. Contrary to your own belief, you are neither judge nor jury.
So put down your defenses; this life is just too brief to spend it judging others who don’t share your belief.
Words can be powerful weapons in the pain that they convey. So just agree to disagree, and move along your way.
