Discontent, continuously walking in the shadows of the road not taken, is a major time thief. Its effect is mentally exhausting, and it prevents us from experiencing gratitude and peace. Minutes spent in discontent are wasted, not lived in the now, but instead inside the past or a conjured future. Gratitude is discontent’s biggest adversary.
