It’s all about the Relationships
Serving on the Post Falls Chamber Board has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve done since moving to North Idaho. Ted and I moved to Post Falls in 2017. When I learned of an opening on the Chamber Board, I quickly volunteered because I wanted to learn more about our community and how we could best serve. Little did I know that it wouldn’t be long before I was on the Executive Board and now about to be Chair of
the Board. It is an honor to be asked to serve.
What’s the best part of being involved in the Post Falls Chamber? The relationships! In thinking about all the relationships we develop in the Chamber -- with members, with elected officials, with other community leaders, with volunteers, staff and fellow board members – it’s very exciting and that’s what makes service in the Chamber fun!
And, when you think about it, those relationships help promote your businesses. Whether you’re exchanging business cards at a Connect for Lunch, meeting CEOs of companies through the CEO series, attending some of the informative events, finding a local business in the directory, there are any number of ways that membership in the Chamber helps you build relationships and promote your business.
In 2020, our focus is going to be on how we can best serve our members. Part of that is in how we help you promote relationships with current and prospective customers and clients; also in how you can learn more about best practices for running your company.
All of us, including myself, fellow board members and our staff, want to be in touch with you to find out what’s important to you. We plan to do a member survey to learn more about what you want from the Chamber and how we can best serve you.
Thank you to all of you for supporting your local chamber. Thank you to our board leaders, our volunteers and our staff for all that they do every day to keep the Post Falls Chamber vital.
