EQUINE-ASSISTED SERVICES
OUR ORGANIZATION
Horses of Hope Oregon was established in 1988. Our history makes us the longest continuously operating equine assisted therapeutic program in the state of Oregon.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We offer equine assisted services that utilize the natural movement and emotional intelligence of Horses to improve the well-being of people with challenges. Our programs provide physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral benefits, as well as independence and a sense of empowerment for our participants.
Each year we serve over 200 participants, with over 120 different diagnosis. Horses of Hope is supported thanks to our many generous donors, foundations, sponsors and committed volunteers. We are extremely grateful to the many volunteers for their time, expertise and dedication during their 8700 hours of volunteering.
