• Whipped bitter end • Always flexible – stays soft and easy to handle throughout its life • Spliced eye end – much stronger than a knot • Resistant to oil, grease, gasoline, mildew and most chemicals • Will not rot – allows for storing wet or dry • Great for dock lines, anchor lines, or mooring lines Use this chart to help choose the correct line diameter. If your boat is located in a windy area or in an area that often experiences rough sea conditions, it is a good idea to choose the next bigger line diameter. Bow and stern lines should be two-thirds the length of your boat. Spring lines should be as long as your boat.
