THIS IS AN OVERVIEW OF DOMETIC RACK AND PINION STEERING HELMS LIKELY TO BE ENCOUNTERED. The RackTM & HPS RackTM (“Back Mount” Rack)

Note: Rack steering requires 2 1/4” hole in the dash.
• Four bolts and washers secure cable’s rack housing to helm. • Helm/cable install as unit from back of dash. • Helm requires current generation rack cables (will not bolt up to
older style cables). • Dual cable has one rack housing with two cables attached. Single
helm works on both single and dual cable applications • NFB recommended for non-hydraulic power-assist outboards. • One bezel is offered; angle to dash is changed by adding wedges. See below:
