WASTE TANKS & FITTINGS
MOELLER WASTE TANKS
Each tank features a nominal wall thickness of 0.30 in. (7.6 mm) to control odor which would otherwise permeate through the walls. NPT openings for vent, fill, and pumpout are standard. Refer to the diagram on the right. The position of the vent
is the same for all waste tanks. The fill and pumpout position (dimension D2) varies for each tank, and is provided with the tank dimensions below.
Federal Regulation 33CFR159, which incorporates EPA standards for water pollution control, governs the design, construction, and certification of marine sanitation systems. Boat owners and operators are responsible for making sure that each sanitation device complies with the requirements of 33CFR159.
All Moeller waste tanks meet the material and pressure specifications for sanitation tanks as called out in the federal regulations.
