Regular Stock Return for Credit - RMA # must be obtained prior to any return. Items must be returned freight prepaid in original package, unopened and unmarked in any way. The return authorization # must be marked on the outside of the shipment and referenced on any related paperwork. Retail dealership price stickers must be removed. If item is not in new and resalable condition, it will be returned to dealer. 20% restocking charge will apply to items over 21 days. Any goods without an RMA or over 90 days will not be accepted.
NOTE: All cables are subject to a 5% restocking fee (Steering & Control Cables).
Defective Warranty Return for Credit - RMA # must be obtained prior to any return. Items must be returned freight prepaid. CC policy is based on each specific manufacturer’s terms and conditions as listed on the manufacturer’s website. Refer to pages 1363 - 1365 for website information. Credit will be issued to dealer’s account upon approval from the manufacturer. The manufacturer may or may not extend warranty for an item, and CC is not a party to any such warranty and has no liability or obligation thereunder. All defective returns must be accompanied with a copy of the sales invoice to the end user. This is for the manufacturer to confirm that the item is within the warranty period. Claims will be denied without this information. All warranty parts must be returned to CC prepaid freight for warranty consideration.
Defective Warranty Items that cannot be returned to CC for Credit -These items must go directly to manufacturer for repair and be returned to dealer or end user. These items include, but are not limited to Air Spray Guns & Tools, Barbeques, De-icers, Depth Sounders, Downriggers, Electric Tools, Electronic Diagnostic Tools, Electronic Engine Parts, Electro Steer, Fish Finders, GPS, Jack Plates, Keelguards, Plotters, Propane Stoves, Refridgerators, Remote Powered Search Lights, Shrink Wrap Guns & Accessories, Stern Drive Lifts, Talons & Trolling Motors, Troll Masters, Water Heaters, Windlasses and Winches.
CDI & Balmar Products – Please Do not call CC for a Return Authorization – Call CDI First!!! - If you are experiencing a problem please contact CDI immediately at 1-866-423-4832 for assistance. These communications will allow the manufacturer to help you quickly and effectively – so your customer’s boat doesn’t stay in the shop any longer than required. Technical Services will assist you with troubleshooting the ignition system to determine if CDI Electronics’ part failed by itself, or if another component of the ignition system is causing the CDI part to fail.
This process helps to avoid the “repetitive failure loop” of reordering a part that continues to fail due to a failure mode caused by another part in the ignition system. If CDI determines you have a defective part they will issue an RMA and CC Parts Department will assist you with the process.
GLM Marine Parts - Any claim with labour concerns must be sent to GLM directly. GLM will credit or reimburse the Dealer for qualified warranty claims submitted that comply with GLM identified warranty policies. Any claim SHALL BE IN WRITING TO GLM PRODUCTS, INC. WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD. Contact GLM Products or CC Marine Distributors for a GLM warranty application. All returns must have a GLM RGA # assigned and marked on all documents.
Megaware KeelGuard® - Lifetime Warranty - Must be registered when installed and claimed by end user (retail customer) directly to Megaware.
Norcold Refrigeration Products - Units need to be returned to an authorized service centre or the Norcold factory. Contact Parts Department for information on how to proceed.
Sierra Warranty Parts - Must be returned with a copy of invoice to end user. Any claim involving labour issues must be directed to Sierra. Labour claims procedure is located on inside back cover of Sierra Parts Catalogue.
