     Who can apply for a Sanctuary Scholarship?
Any person who is a Protection Applicant (person seeking asylum) and not eligible for State support, e.g. Student Support Scheme.
Any person with Stamp 4 Permission to Remain, Subsidiary Protection, Family Reunification, or Refugee Status and not eligible for State support, e.g. SUSI grant.
     Are you required to undertake an English Language exam?
If you apply as a Mature Student you may have to undertake an IELTS English Language Exam if English is not your first language. https://www.ucc.ie/en/study/comparison/english/undergraduate/
      What does the scholarship include?
Tuition Fees for an undergraduate (Bachelor) degree Student Contribution
Monthly Financial payment of €400
Laptop – if required (one per student over course of degree)
      Any Other Relevant Information
You must apply to the Central Applications Office (CAO,
for a UCC undergraduate course via either the Leaving Certificate
Route (CAO deadline 5:15 p.m. 1st May 2021), QQI route (CAO
deadline 5:15 p.m. 1st May 2021) or the Mature Student Route (CAO
deadline 1st February 2021).
Form 2021 by 5 p.m., 12th April 2021.

      You must complete the online UCC Sanctuary Scholarship Application
  You must be ranked amongst the top candidates by the UCC
 Sanctuary Scholarship Committee to be offered a scholarship.
