10. Youthreach
• Applicable to Protection Applicants with a work permit

• This is for people aged between 15 & 20 years old •
• Courses on offer are usually at Level 3 or 4, this is an excellent foundation before going on to a Level 5 course

11. Springboard
• Applicable to people with status
• We are seeking clarification regarding whether Protection Applicants are eligible
• Three years Residency required
• From June 2020 Springboard+ offers over 11,000 free or subsidised places on over 300
courses leading to awards at certificate, degree and post-graduate level. The majority of courses are part-time for a maximum of 12 months and are open to employed, unemployed and returning students who meet the eligibility criteria.
  The Youthreach programme provides two years integrated education, training and work
 experience for unemployed early school leavers without any qualifications or vocational
 training
 Protection Applicants will continue to receive their weekly payment of €38 and not the
 social welfare rates mentioned on the following websites.

• Aontas is Ireland’s National Adult Learning Organisation, a registered charity.
• Although they don’t specifically address the needs of people seeking international protection in Ireland their website and information booklet might be useful to you
