Insulin Pump
Small, programmable device used to deliver insulin via a narrow, exible tube, or cannula, inserted just under the skin. About the size of a cell phone, the pump can be worn in places such as on a belt or in a pocket. Pumps offer exibility in dosing basal and bolus insulin throughout the day, based on user need and preference.
Infusion Set
Used to deliver insulin from the pump to
the user. Consists of a length of thin, plastic tubing; a cannula that is inserted under the skin; and a plastic connector that joins the tubing and cannula. The connector features
an adhesive patch that sticks to the skin to keep the cannula in place and allow the user to disconnect from the pump without removing the infusion set.
Patch Pump Supplies
OmniPod® is an insulin delivery system that features a small, lightweight device (Pod) that integrates the reservoir, infusion set
and inserter, and can be worn almost anywhere on the body. It wirelessly communicates with a handheld PDM (Personal Diabetes Manager), which schedules, records and alerts the user when insulin delivery occurs and also functions as a suggested bolus calculator and a blood glucose monitor.
Multiple Daily Injections
Reservoirs

Insertion Device
