Nonirritating, nonsensitizing and noncytotoxic. 200 μ/gm of silver, exhibits outstanding antimicrobial barrier properties even in the presence of organic substances in wound uid that are known to interfere and inhibit the action of antimicrobial agents. Effective against bacteria, including the antibiotic-resistant strains MRSA and VRE, as well as fungi, such as candida albicans and aspergillus niger. Has been shown to maintain a high level of antimicrobial effectiveness for up to three days.
Non-oily wound dressing specially formulated for the needs of radiation patients. Apply a liberal amount of gel over the affected area and massage into skin. Use as often as needed.
