  Biscuits & Gravy

Breakfast

DIRECTIONS
Add the sausage to a frying pan on medium heat and crumble the sausage; add the butter.
When the sausage is browned, add the flour stirring until it makes a roux.
Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly, add the thyme.
Salt & pepper to taste, bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer until the mixture thickens.
Pour over hot biscuits
This works well over buttered toast which is then crumbled.
INGREDIENTS
1 Tbls butter
1/2 breakfast sausage roll
4 Tbls flour
3 cups milk
1 pinch dried thyme
salt & pepper
