NETWORKING
Networking is a socioeconomic business activity by which businesspeople and entrepreneurs meet to form business relationships and to recognize, create, or act upon busi- ness opportunities, share information and seek potential partners for ventures. Networking is a staple in creating relationships that ultimately lead to customers.
Networking can be done in many ways. Below are a the recommended networking activities that have been suc- cessful for the CMIT network:
WEBINARS
Short for Web-based seminar, a webinar is a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web using video conferencing software. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements is the ability to give, receive and discuss information in real-time.
LUNCH N LEARNS
“Lunch and learns” are voluntary meetings, training ses- sions, or presentations that take place during a meal and food is provided that is accompanied by a presentation of content.
CMIT corporate is launching a National Event Program in 2020. We will be hosting events in 12-14 cities where fran- chisees are located. We will host the event in conjunction with the owner(s) in that market. All content, “how to’s”, and best practices from the event will be available to the network for you to host your own events in your markets.
