Connecting to the Spine Trail is an ever-expanding network of hard- surfaced trails that weave around the lakes, and connect even more of our communities. In addition to the dedicated trails, more than 60 miles of signed biking routes loop from the spine over low-traffic county roads for users who want\u000Aa more challenging workout while\u000Aenjoying the rural countryside Dickinson County has to offer.\u000AA printable map is available at dickinsoncountytrails.com, and copies are available at the Iowa Welcome Center in Arnolds Park.\u000AGroomed cross-country ski trails are available from Brooks Golf Course to the Dickinson County Nature Center, and at Kettleson Hogsback Management Area on the west side of Spirit Lake.
