in 2015, provides a strong foundation to mobilise
existing community and school partnerships to deliver our Sustainable Communities concept.
The Sustainable Communities programme builds on the Society’s Co- operative Energy business helping people save money on their energy
bills and promoting energy efficiency in the local community, particularly among vulnerable and hard to reach groups. Projects have been launched across our trading area working with local schools to educate students on renewable energy and encouraging customers, members and colleagues to become better informed, included and involved in their Society.
The programme will help us deliver the Society’s ‘Imagined Future’ of ‘creating a better, fairer world by building strong local communities’.
