Section B – Tattoo Removal
I ‘cut my teeth’ on QS ruby laser treatment of tattoos back in the mid 1980s in Canniesburn Hospital, Glasgow. My colleague and I launched the world’s first company to offer this treatment to the public. We later started the first company to sell this technology across the world.
Since then, I have continued to research this topic – both clinically and in computer models. In 2020 I developed a new theory discussing the physical mechanisms involved in this treatment, which I presented to the BMLA meeting (see post B12).
