Here I am in a Zoom interview with Ron Myers of The Consulting Room, and Jon Exley from Lynton Lasers (during the first lockdown, 2020). We discussed the potential hazards of laser or IPL-generated plume (smoke) from treating hair and other conditions. (Apologies for my messy room - but it was actually quite tidy that day...)
In 2019 I joined Dr Zambia Kader in setting up the UK Council for Surgical Plumes - an organisation to help raise awareness about laser or IPL-generated plume and their hazards. I also wrote an article for Aesthetic Medicine on this topic.
In 2020, my friend, PA Torstensson and I, formed "The Laser-IPL Guys". We have set up a blog, web site and training academy (to be launched soon).
