Summary: nano- vs pico- lasers
It appears that the picosecond lasers may have some advantage over nanosecond systems, in some cases. Various clinical comparative studies seem to indicate that there can be a ‘significant advantage’ in some tattoos, and very little difference in others.
An interesting fact that we noted – studies which were ‘sponsored’ by laser manufacturers always seemed to find much better results, compared with those were no company involvement occurred.
