Section A – Hair Removal
In this section I discuss various aspects of laser and IPL hair removal including the basics and fundamentals, then some of my own research (based on computer modelling and clinical observations through the years).
I discuss the importance of fluence, wavelength, pulsewidth, cooling and timings, in particular – across the four main platforms – diode, alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers, and IPL systems.
This topic is always moving – new results and data are appearing all the time which alters the way I think about various aspects. I am still working on my models to see if we can improve results. As I find new results I will continue to post them on my blog...
