ACTIVITY
Next, you will play a memory game.
You will begin by making your own cards.
You will have three cards for every vocabulary word.
On one card, you will write the vocabulary word from the list.
On another card, you will write the part of speech of that word.
On the last card, you will make a drawing that represents the vocabulary word. Try to be creative with your drawings.
Your teacher will make teams of 4.
Mix up your words with the ones your classmates made.
Place the cards face down.
Turn three cards; if all of the cards match, the student will keeps the cards. If the cards don’t match, place them face down again.
A player can keep turning cards until they don’t get a match.
Try to remember the cards on your classmates’ turn.

2. evening
3. afternoon
4. stood
5. snapping
6. safe
7. blowing
8. spread
9. corner
10. tablecloth
The student with the most cards wins!
