       Comparing with Adjectives
The comparative form of one - syllable word adjectives is formed by adding –er. The comparative form of two or more syllable word adjectives is formed with the
word more. Examples:
The woman is uglier than the witch.
The lad is taller than the old man.
The golden coins are more expensive than silver coins. The lad is more intelligent than the North Wind.
The superlative form of one – syllable word adjectives is formed by adding –est.
The superlative form of two or more syllable word adjectives is formed with the word
most. Examples:
The woman is ugliest of the whole village.
The lad is tallest man from the village.
The golden coins are the most expensive coins. The lad is the most intelligent man.
To indicate that something does not have as much of a quality, use less and least with most adjectives.
Some adjectives have special forms of comparing:
          Good, better, best
Well (healthy), better, best Bad, worse, worst
   Much, more, most Many, more, most Little, less, least
     unit
