Citing a book:
a) First, write the author´s last name (first name followed by a period).
b) The title of the book should be italicized or underlined followed by a period.
c) Write the place where the book was published, followed by a colon.
d) Write the publisher of the book, followed by a comma
e) Lastly, write the year of the publication.
Example:
Smith, Arthur E. Religions through the Years. New York- CM & Son, 2013.
Citing a website:
a) Write the author´s name, followed by a period.
b) Write the title of the page you are using (not the title of the website). Use quotation marks followed by a period.
c) Write the website´s name italicized.
d) Include the date you accessed the information followed by a period.
e) Write down the URL of the website, followed by a period.
Example:
Wikipedia contributors, 'List of religions and spiritual traditions', Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia, 3 December 2013, 21:43 UTC, <http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_religions_and_spiritual_ traditions&oldid=584429159> [accessed 3 December 2013]
