Writing a Paragraph.

• A paragraph is a group of closely related sentences that tells about one general or main idea.
• The topic sentence tells the main idea of the paragraph. It is usually the first sentence of the paragraph.
• The other sentences support the main idea. They give more information about the topic sentence.
1. PREWRITING. Think of something you find interesting. Make a list of things you would like to say about it.
