    Compound predicate
A compound predicate is two or more simple predicates joined by and, or, or but with the same subject.
Example:
Sun and Wind were greedy.
Sun and Wind were selfish.
Sun and Wind were greedy and selfish.
In your notebook, write a paragraph using as many sentences with compound predicates as you can.
Compound sentence
• A compound sentence is a sentence that contains two com- plete ideas (called clauses) that are related. Usually these two ideas are connected by a conjunction.
• The conjunctions usually are “and”, “but”, “for”, “or”, “nor”, “yet”, or “so”.
