“Take your parrot then” cried the prince and with that, he wrung the bird’s neck and threw it at the magician, and as he did so, Punchkin’s own head twisted around and with a fearful groan he died!
Everything started to change immediately around them. Every desolate landscape turned lush green and life and glory returned to all!
The prince then (with his father and uncles) rode to the tower to rescue Balna.
The rest of the prisoners were so overjoyed to finally be free and so enchanted by the beauty of their surroundings that they decided to settle down in this very place and live happily ever after.
