Equestrian
Equestrian pursuits have always been an important part of life at Brays Island. Today, you’ll still see horses everywhere, whether grazing in lush  elds or taking riders on exhilarating journeys over the 40 miles of riding trails and 25 additional miles of sand roads that criss-cross the planta- tion. Today’s riders - or those who’d like to be - will appreciate all that Brays Island o ers to help its residents enjoy this revered pastime. It starts with the Equestrian Center, complete with mag- ni cent tack rooms and lounge. Facilities include paddocks with eight miles of wooden fencing and, of course, expert instruction for riders of all levels.
 ere is room for approximately 85 horses here on the Plantation, and the equestrian sta  will work closely with you to ensure that you and your horse are comfortable and happy. If you don’t own your own horse, there are 12 horses owned by the Plantation that can be used on an hourly basis. Brays o ers fantastic facilities for all levels of experience.
