Academic Readiness for
Kindergarten & 1st Grade
Will your child be ready for kindergarten? Your child will be introduced to, or review necessary skills for Kindergarten
and 1st Grade success. We will make learning numbers, understanding math concepts, reading, site words, writing, and science fun. Let your child explore while engaging in games and activities working in both group and individual settings. Lunch will be provided.
Nowell Park Recreation Center Summer Camps
Camp Bravehart
Campers will enjoy, arts and crafts, games, sports, cookouts, water activites, theme days and much more. Every day will be fun and adventurous. Each camper will receive one t-shirt and camp bookbag. Early bird discount is available for participants who are paid in full by May 18. The Joliet Park District’s refund policy will be firmly enforced. EFT payment plans are available and CCR&R payments are accepted. Same household multi- sibling discount is available for 10-week registration only.
Camp Bravehart will follow all current IDPH and CDC day camp guidelines.

Synergy Mini Cheer, Dance, Pom Summer Camp

Nowell Park Recreation Center (Multi-Purpose Room A and B)
Camp is for those who are interested in cheer, dance, and pom. Each day we will spend time on skills and techniques in each area including chants, jumps, jazz, hip hop, and poms. Please wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes daily. Camp will divide by ages. Lunch will be provided.

Come learn the fundamentals of a variety of sports in this Active and EXCITING camp! Participants will receive basic knowledge in a different sport each day. Drop off and pick
up for camp will be on the west side of ATI Field at Joliet Memorial Stadium every day except one which will take place at the Inwood Park large pavilion. Participants will be notified on the first day of camp when that day will be. Participants will need to wear athletic shoes and dress for the weather. Children should bring a backpack with sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and a hat each day. Lunch will be provided.
