Join us for this virtual program 2 times a week to meet new friends, have some fun, and begin your journey in preschool. Students will be placed in virtual classes with children their own ages. We will sing songs, listen to stories, do fun crafts with weekly themes that are sure to interest your little one.
We will also be working on skills that your child would be introduced to at in person preschool. Parents are encouraged to stay on for a parent-talk after class once a week to discuss things with other parents going through the same trials of parenting. We understand many of you are missing the hallway time and we want to provide teacher time for you to talk
with other grown-ups, discuss learning strategies, and learn new ideas to make virtual preschool a success. Each child will receive a kit full of supplies to bring the learning to the safety of your house. We ask that parents stay close to help with the virtual end of things until your student becomes comfortable with online platforms.
Home School Field Trips
Attention Home-schoolers! Have you ever wanted to come to a field trip at the Nature Center? Now you can! Join us for a field trip! We could talk about nature, history, or team building. These field trips offer hands-on learning while exploring the Nature Center and Pilcher Park with a guide. Pre-registration
is required to ensure the field trips will run with the minimum partipants needed. Keep an eye out for a flyer with the specific field trip topics for each date.

Kids at Hart E-Learning
The Kids at Hart program is committed to providing children (grades K-8) a safe and nurturing environment
for learning as well as recreational activities throughout the day. The Joliet Park District will structure the program to follow the ISBE, District 86 and Laraway District 70C learning requirements. The staff is sensitive and flexible in order to meet the needs of both children and parents. This program will also follow the District 86 and District 70C public school calendar. Days off school program (Tons of Fun) will be available for an extra fee.
The Joliet Park District’s refund policy will be strictly enforced and there will be no proration of fees for days not in attendance. Monthly EFT payments, payment plans, and Child Care Resource and Referral are accepted.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
• This is a cooperative program between the Joliet Park District and Joliet Public Schools, District 86 and District 70C and will be held at the Joliet Park District Nowell Park Recreation Center.
• E-learning assistance in accordance to District 86 and District 70C timing and guidelines.
• Group and individual activities that include arts & crafts, outdoor activities, sports, games - all designed to enrich, entertain and educate.
• Extended program hours.
• Affordable equal monthly installment payments with payment
plan options will be available.
• Child Care Resource and Referral accepted.

Sunshine Hybrid ZOOM
Our Hybrid preschool is the best of both worlds. Children will participate in 2 days of virtual preschool per week and then meet for a 45/60-minute playgroup with their grownup at Inwood Park. We will attempt to stay at an outdoor location so kids can have some nature exploration, but it will be the adult’s responsibility to help with your child’s personal needs. Our preschool and early childhood staff will work off of our current preschool curriculum and offer a fun playdate so kids can have some socialization time. Each child will receive a “kit” full of supplies to bring the learning home. We ask that the same parent attend the playgroups every week to keep social circles small.

ABC & 123 Come Play with Me Zoom
Enjoy a class about letters and numbers from your own favorite room. We will sing songs, play interactive games and make special projects. Parents will need to pick up project learning box prior to each week’s lesson. All supplies will be provided.
