Before and After School Program
The Joliet Park District has partnered with local School Districts to assist families who have children who need supervision before and after school by offering a before and after school total enrichment program. We currently have over 180 k-8 students who participate in our program, but we could serve many more families with additional funding. We transport the children to school from our facilities and to our facilities after school. We provide them with tutoring, structured game time, structured gym time, swimming, arts and crafts and a healthy after-school snack.
We are dedicated to the following principals:
• Developing positive relationships with the families we serve based on mutual trust
• Appreciating, accepting and respecting each family’s uniqueness of culture, language, customs, beliefs
and ethnicity
• Providing opportunities for children to learn in a safe and healthy environment
MULTI-PURPOSE CENTER BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SPONSOR
$5,000 (MULTIPLE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE)
• The Joliet Park District will provide a 6 foot banner with your corporate logo displayed in both the Hartman Recreation Center and the Multi-Purpose Center
• Your company’s name displayed in the before/after school classroom • 1⁄2 page ad in the Joliet Park District program catalog
• Your corporate logo featured on the Joliet Park District website
KIDS AT HART SPONSOR
$2,500 (MULTIPLE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE)
The Kids at Hart program offers after-school care for children in District 86. Children who enroll in the program are
provided with a snack, tutoring and help with homework assignments. They also participate in educational and physical games and activities.
