Population estimates for sensory preference in adulthood are:
 Visual – 60% with more males than females.
 Auditory – 20% with more females than males.
 Kinesthetic – 20% with equal numbers of males and
females.
Since many children are acquainted with a zoo, a bird-zoo environment seemed highly appropriate as a setting for Aimi and her friends to become acquainted with the concept of sensory preference.
