“Oh, yes!” said Toni and Tad together. “Let’s stop at the Galleria for fresh fruit freezes!’
Aimi walked beside Grami. Aimi did not clap her hands or jump up and down and up and down or skip or run. She was careful of her arm.
“Three fresh fruit freezes!” said Tad. “Three fresh fruit freezes coming up!”
“Four fresh fruit freezes,” said Aimi. “We need four, not three!”
“But there are only three of us,” said Tad. “Connor is unpacking today.”
“I know Connor is unpacking,” said Aimi. “I’m not talking about Connor. Grami wants a fresh fruit freeze, too! Don’t you
Grami?”
“I most
certainly do,”
said Grami. “As I recall, fresh fruit freezes were my idea.” She smiled. “Three of us plus one Grami equals four fresh fruit
freezes,” said Aimi.
“Uh-Oh,” said Tad. “Make that four fresh fruit
freezes. Four fresh fruit freezes coming up!” 106
