“I’ll tell Kiki all about meeting the artist who is going to paint my portrait,” said Aimi, as Grami parked the car in front of a big white house. Wide green shutters framed each window. A wide flagstone path led to a wide front porch. On the wide front porch there was a wide front door. A wide metal knocker hung in the middle of the wide front door.
“Go ahead and knock on the door,” said Grami.
Aimi tapped the wide metal knocker against the wide front door. There was no answer. Aimi tapped the wide metal knocker against the wide front door again. Harder this time. Still no answer.
