One—Startling Screech
“I like touching you,” Aimi said to the tiny little baby chick in her lap. “You are cute and fluffy and soft. I think you are kinesthetic. And you don’t screech.”
They watched the tiny little baby chicks for a long time.
Suddenly there was a loud noise. It came from the other side of the little rock wall directly behind them. It was a very loud noise. Actually, it was a very very loud screech!
The camera man with the big black mustache and the floppy hat jumped up in the air. The zoo lady in the zoo uniform jumped up in the air. The big green bird jumped up in the air. The tiny little baby chicks jumped up in the air.
Grami did not jump up in the air but her eyes opened very wide.
