Two—Birthday Dilemma
“I think Tad and Toni will like the presents you selected,” said Grami.
“I know,” said Aimi, holding the Bird-Zoo shopping bag with a picture of a Peacock on it. “The rabbit book is a good present for Tad and the music CD is just right for Toni. Thank you for helping me buy presents for my friends. It was a good adventure.”
“You’re very welcome,” said Grami, smiling down at Aimi. “We had a good time together.”
Grami and Aimi walked out of the Galleria and into the underground parking lot. Suddenly Aimi said, “Grami, I’m hungry. Shopping made me hungry.”
“So am I,” said Grami. “Shopping made me hungry, too! Let’s go home and eat dinner.”
And that’s exactly what they did.
