A plump gray-haired nurse in green scrubs came into the room. She was carrying a tray. A needle and a syringe were on the tray.
“Hello, young lady,” said the plump gray-haired nurse in green scrubs. “I have a pain shot for you. What is your name and birthdate?”
Aimi told her. Then Aimi asked. "Will the pain shot hurt?”
“Yes. The pain shot will hurt for a minute,” replied the plump gray-haired nurse in green scrubs. “It will feel like a bee sting.”
“I’ve had a bee sting,” said Aimi. “I know what it feels like. I can take a pain shot.”
“Would you like me to hold your hand while you get the pain shot?” asked Grami.
